Several of my user accounts are some variant on the name destructionator. Why is that? No, it isn't my dislike of the struct keyword in programming. struct rox.
It comes from playing StarCraft in high school (on the school computers*). I wanted a silly word that would fill the name field in the game, and since the game has plenty of destruction, destructionator was born.
After high school, I used it on the internet as a semi-anonymous name: the high school people would recognize me but nobody else would.
I never actually played any games with them after graduation and started using my real name about six months later, but here, ten years after the fact, that old username still remains on several of my accounts.
* high school was pretty great.
